Jackie Langenek is a 1998 graduate of Garfield High School in Akron.  Throughout her high school career she worked as a teacher’s assistant in a dance studio and an after school tutor for students of various ages.  She also volunteered her time as a teacher in the Sunday School and Vacation Bible School of her church.  As a 2002 graduate of The University of Akron, Jackie obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education (Age 3-Grade 3).  After graduation she worked for multiple school districts as a substitute teacher and continued to gain hands-on learning experiences in the classroom.  Jackie has been the head teacher and administrator at Hope Lutheran Preschool since the fall of 2004. She resides in Akron with her husband and two children.

Denise Hodgkinson graduated from Ellet High School in 1980, where she also attended specialized classes for early childhood care.  After completing 1,480 hours in skills training specific to her vocation, Denise received a Certificate of Completion as a Child Care Assistant in addition to her high school diploma.  Over the past 35 years  she has worked with various ages of children in day cares and preschools.  Denise has been at Hope Lutheran Preschool as a Teacher Assistant since 1997. She resides in Akron with her husband and daughter.
